Re: Jordan Henderson
I was intrigued by comments that Henderson had ruined his 'brand' by moving to Saudi by our ex iron Thomas

if anything the decision to move to Saudi has increased his brand. If he stayed in Europe there are hundreds of other football players athletes etc he would be competing with to land adverts or endorsement deals etc.

By moving early to Saudi he can establish himself out there for endorsement adverts etc and probably earn more money and opportunities.

Of course he's a fucking hypocrite, the world is fucking full of them now. Talk a good game, make out you have FEELS and really care about the world and everyone in it.

The reality is, when it comes to the crunch, these people are naturally the most self centred cunts there are.

We've got a few on here, constantly pointing fingers at others about issues they don't have to live through themselves.

'Henderson on 700 bags a week is a fucking joke.'

Agree- that's gone massively under the radar! 33, on the way down. Absolutely insane money. Be interesting to see how much further this actually goes, because you can see an absolute exodus once other people the wrong side of 30 or not fussed about an international career see what the likes of him are getting.

Henderson on 700 bags a week is a fucking joke.

Oil money really is ruining football, even more than thr TV money does.

On hypocrisy... I used to work with a lass that's always posting lgbtqiaa+ woke shit on her Instagram. All well and good. But she moved to Malaysia to teach there for thr money. Where the alphabet crowd have no rights whatosever and if I'm not mistaken it's actually illegal to be gay

Re: Jordan Henderson
That's the thing about pretending to support a cause for marketing reasons. You can't hide your hypocrisy forever.

What made me chuckle was the Saudis photoshopping his rainbow armband out of all photos of him. Somehow can't see him taking the same stand there.

Knowing what a staunch supporter Henderson is of all these causes I expect he'll be using most of his new found mega wealth to open up a chain of Cat Cafés for non binary folk and mental health dog walking initiatives for angry bull dykes.

Perhaps he's going there with a cunning plan to set up professional Trans and Women's football leagues?

Re: Jordan Henderson
Hypocricy at its finest.

You become a voice and face of a campaign that's in place to combat and eradicate behaviours and philosophies that are ongoing in countries like Saudi Arabia. Then go to the that country for the obscene amount of money he'll earn.

It's a joke. You stand up for all things LGBTQ until the time that the people who are against it pay you enough. Morals and beliefs dictated to and changed by money.

Obscene. Disgraceful. But then, what does anyone expect from a mercenary footballer? I don't blame him for going. Good luck to him. But when you get so invested in a campaign and align your morals and beliefs to support it, in my view you have to do that forever.

What a stand he could've made. What a statement. To stand up and say this is what they offered but I don't want that money because what I stand for and what I believe. That is the ultimate statement.

But he kopped out for the money. Well done.

you cant live your life without using petroleum products, so in their own way the bummers are funding all of this.

at least Henderson is taking money off the head choppers and not funding them.

Re: Jordan Henderson
I can fully understand them labelling him a massive hypocrite for doing that after what he's said in the past regarding the subject.

But at the same time they should know almost all footballers are fucking mercenary gobshites who will just say what people want to hear at any given time but ultimately just chase the money.

I am quite enjoying mr squeaky clean all round top man what a hero self appointed leader of men through covid Henderson getting a bit of a slagging though.

I’m pretty sure that when he was offered £700k a week his last thought would have been how will my gay fans react?
